Tom Hirschaman (AKA Z-Barr) was born on January 25th 1982 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, US.
He started his pro wrestling career in 1999 at the CZW Dojo and he retired in 2012.
Z Barr was a part of CZW’s early years, teaming with Nick Berk in "The Softcore Connection".
The Philadelphia native also wrestled around the indies for companies like NWA Wildside, IWA Mid-South - taking part in their Candido Cup and taking on Chuck Taylor for their Heavyweight Title, Pro Wrestling Unplugged - holding their TV Title and even having a match on TNA (now IMPACT wrestling) Xplosion in 2003.
According to Online World Of Wrestling, Z Barr was voted “Most Hated in CZW” every year that they voted on the subject. He was also the only wrestler to ever be censored on Japan’s Samurai TV for calling the referee a “c*cksucker” in Japanese during a match.
He was never afraid to take chances and was known for his willingness to put his body on the line for fans.
Tom Hirschaman died on July 21st 2020, no reason for death has been given.
