"Danny Havoc" Grant Berkland - May 19 1986 – May 31 2020

Born in Iowa, USA - Grant used to wrestle with his friends after school until he got to the age where he was able to have a try out at the CZW Wrestling Academy.

Debuting for Combat Zone Wrestling " Tournament of Death 4" as "Danny Havoc" on July 30th 2005 in a student battle royal, and then making his singles debut a few months later.

Danny would capture gold in CZW, winning Tag, Junior Heavyweight, Ultraviolent Underground titles and twice winning the Tournament of Death.

Along with CZW, Danny would wrestle in such companies as IWA Mid-South, AIW, VOW and more. Also going outside the country and wrestling in Germany (wXw), Japan (Big Japan, DDT, Mexico (Desastre Total Ultraviolento) and more.

Danny called it a day in 2017, having his final CZW match against Alex Colon at the same show he made his debut on 12 years earlier (Down With The Sickness).

Danny would become a part of H20 Wrestling, as a authority figure of sorts, but came out of retirement in 2019 for a benefit for dellow wrestler G-Raver. Danny would have a further 5 matches following his come back, for GCW and FREEDOMS in Japan.

Unfortunately Grant's wife, Brianne passed away from heart failure until April 4th 2020, Grant would pass on May 31st of the same year.

EDITORS NOTE:

Grant was amazing, we emailed each other all the time. I helped him with video editing, gave him stupid ideas for matches and in return he would send me t-shirts, DVD's - that sort of stuff.

It was so horrible how his and his wife's lives ended.
