Ryan was born in Ohio on June 11 1977. He moved to Pennsylvania after briefly living in New York.
He went to school with Bam Margera and they would remain best friends for the rest of Ryan's life.
With a group of friends (including Bam) they created cKy (Camp Kill Yourself), a predecessor to shows like Jackass. Creating multiple DVD's.
It was these DVD's that gave director Jeff Tremaine the idea to bring the cKy cast into a new project he was working on, Jackass.
Ryan was featured in 3 series of Jackass, 3 movies and a bunch of spin offs - such as Viva La Bam.
Ryan was also an accomplished actor, appearing in Haggard: The Movie, A Halfway House Christmas, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and more.
As well as stunts and acting, Ryan was known for being a TV presenter - presenting Homewrecker & Proving Ground.
Ryan suffered with Lyme Disease and Depression.
Ryan and Zachary Hartwell died on June 20th 2011 when Ryan's car crashed into a tree.
